Medieval Charm: Walking through the cobbled streets and alleyways of this beautiful medieval town, illuminated by old-fashioned gas lamps, felt like stepping into a mesmerizing fairytale.
Steep Street: The steep and cobblestone street outside the hotel can be challenging for people with mobility issues.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming B&B in the heart of a medieval town. The hosts were incredibly helpful and provided valuable information before my arrival. The location was perfect for exploring the town and enjoying the local market. The room had great views, although the spiral staircase was a bit challenging. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered excellent value for money. I highly recommend this B&B for a memorable stay.

We recently stayed at La Lanterne Bed & Breakfast in Sarlat and had a truly wonderful experience. Our 5-night stay felt like coming home, thanks to the warm and welcoming hosts, Jayne and Ian. The inn itself is full of character, with its golden stone facade and tasteful decorations. Our apartment was romantic and beautifully arranged, with a comfortable sitting area and a cozy bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The breakfasts served in the spacious dining room were absolutely delicious, offering a variety of fresh pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt. We can't wait to return one day. Totally recommend this hotel!

I had a fantastic experience staying at this charming bed and breakfast in Sarlat. The hosts, Jane and Ian, were absolutely wonderful - warm, helpful, and great to talk with. They made me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. The location of the B&B was also perfect, right in the heart of the historic center of Sarlat. It made exploring the cobbled streets and alleyways of the medieval town so convenient and enjoyable. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easy access to the rooms and comfortable common areas. The hotel's decoration had a lovely, rustic charm that added to the overall atmosphere of the place.
The only thing I would ask for to make the stay even better for senior people is the inclusion of daily bed and linen tidying service. While this may have been a misunderstanding on my part, I expected this service based on the facility brochure.
